Veteran rapper 50 Cent Blasts GRAMMYs Over “Best Rap Album” Nominees
Grammy Announced her 2021 award nominees yesterday, which have stired a lot of controversy in the music industry since then. Today rapper 50 Cent took to his instagram account to blast the Academy award over the Best rap Album category on the basis that the Academy is taking a different approach than they generally do, celebrating lyricists over popular album sales.
It is believed by many that rap albums such as Lil Baby’s My Turn, Pop Smoke’s Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon, and Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake should have been nominated had it been Grammy is concerned with what the general public was feeling this year.
Although many may think that this year nominees for the Rap Album Category is quite refreshing, whereas others such as the veteran rapper 50 Cent, is unimpressed and think the Academy is “out of touch”.
The rapper posted “They out of touch this shit ain’t it, get the f*ck outta here,” on his Instagram account, although it has since been deleted.
