Rap veteran Kendrick Lamar Says His working on his “Final” Album on TDE in a surprise announcement.
The rapper who made a surprise post on a website called oklama.com revealed his intentions of dropping his final album on TDE, he said “As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling,” .

If you are a fan of Kendrick you would know that the rapper has not released any album since DAMN in 2017 and alot of fans have been waiting in anticipation of a new project from him. Back in March 2020, Kendrick launched his own multi service company called pgLang along with longtime friend and collaborator, Dave Free and there were rumors that he might be leaving Top Dawg Entertainment where he has been signed for about 17 years.
In October, Kendrick signed an exclusive, global administration agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG). He is set to headline the Day N Vegas festival along with Travis Scott and Tyler, The Creator in November in Las Vegas.
