EARTHGANG Releases New Single ‘Amen’ Featuring Musiq Soulchild

Recall that EARTHGANG was supposed to release their new album Ghetto Gods on January 28th but it was pushed back at the last minute due to unknown reasons.

The duo of Olu and WowGr8 later said that it was delayed due to clearance issues out of their control. “We put our life into this Album and want it to see the light of day. Unfortunately we can’t control everything,” the post said. “Our date was our date and all week we were frustrated and sad that our album wasn’t cleared.”

Today, they are back with a new single called ‘Amen’ where they take hook assistance from Musiq Soulchild. The duo called into Zane Lowe’s show on Apple Music where they said the song was inspired by UGK & Outkast’s ‘International Player’s Anthem’ and made from a feel good space.

“We spent so much time outside during the pandemic – Atlanta low-key never shut down. Everywhere we went, we was having a good time and enjoying ourselves. So we want people to enjoy themselves when they heard this record. Never waste a moment to celebrate life. We was living it up the whole time,” they said. Listen to the song below.

Nomi Salee’ Shares new single “Kooky Arrogant Racist Entitled Narcissist (K.A.R.E.N.)”

Fast rising singer and songwriter Naomi Miller, aka NOMI SALEE is out with the release of a brand new single titled “Kooky Arrogant Racist Entitled Narcissist (K.A.R.E.N.)”. She is a senior at Connecticut College. The 2020 Covid shut down inspired her to write what may very well be, the music industry’s most intriguing debut EP of 2022.

The first single, “Kooky Arrogant Racist Entitled Narcissist (or K.A.R.E.N.)” is a soulful sardonic explosion, driven by a pleading Hip Hop sample which creatively takes all damsels in guileful distress to task.

Majoring in Government and minoring in Theater, Nomi Salee’ is more than willing to brave difficult subjects in her music. An artist who grew up listening to legendary giants like Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah and Marvin Gaye, Nomi explains, “Set my revolutionary precedent.” Her father, Elliott Ness, of the golden era group, E.S.P. influenced her eclectic taste in music as well, which spans from the 70’s all the way to the present. You can get the single on itunes and spotify here
