On Friday morning October 23, Rapper Silento was reportedly Arrested in Georgia for reckless driving after being clocked for going 143 miles per hour.
According to reports by TMZ, the 22-year-old rapper was caught going 143 miles per hour on Interstate 85, a 65 miles per hour zone, when asked by the arresting officer why he was going so fast. At first, Silento insisted he did “nothing wrong” but then reportedly told the officer he was simply too famous and forced to speed.
The Rapper who just left a club where he was promoting his new track “DXB Money,” claimed he “had the right” to drive that fast, explaining, “If there is like 10 cars following me, I can do 143 because I am not a regular person.”
Silento was then arrested and taken to DeKalb County Jail.
Recall back in August he was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon in a bizarre hatchet incident. Silento was expected in court at the Van Nuys Courthouse on September 4 but failed to show up. Resulting to $105,000 bench warrant issued by a judge issued and he’s expected back in court on March 22, 2021.
