‘Slumdog Millionaire’ Star and Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan dead at 53

‘Jurassic World’ ‘The Lunchbox’ ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ ‘Life Of Pi’ and Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan dead at the age of 53.

According to reports from the Indian media the actor died on Wednesday in Mumbai; after being admitted for a colon infection withing the week. Khan was diagnosed back in 2018 to have a top-of-the-line neuroendocrine cancer. After travelling to London for the treatment; in regard to the uncommon type of cancer he returned to work a year ago.

Khan was famous for his numerous roles in Bollywood films; a familiar face in Indian on-screens. His greatest movies involve The Lunchbox, Piku, Hindi Medium, Haider, Metro, and D-day. The last movie he acted, Angrezi Medium, which was released recently.

The actor have also played roles in a couple hollywood movies. Khan had featured in movies such as, Jurassic World, The Amazing Spider-Man and Inferno; to award-winning dramas like Ang Lee’s Life of Pi, Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire, and Nair’s The Namesake.

His body will laid to rest today at 3:00 PM in Mumbai. We send our condolence to family.
